Salt & Olive Co. was born in one of the hardest but holiest seasons of my life. I had reached a breaking point — the kind where you finally realize just how far your flesh has been steering you. I was walking away from my most “successful” career venture, not because it failed, but because I finally saw that it no longer glorified God.

In that place of surrender, I asked the Lord what He wanted me to do instead. And in the quiet, He placed this brand on my heart. The name didn’t come from brainstorming or branding sessions — it came through prayer. Salt & Olive Co. was a whisper from God before it was ever a business.

The meaning behind the name is deeply biblical.
Salt reminds us of Jesus’ words: “You are the salt of the earth.” Salt preserves, purifies, and represents covenant.
Olive oil symbolizes anointing, healing, and holy illumination — used to consecrate priests, light the lamps, and mark what was set apart for God.

Those themes are the backbone of this brand. I pray over every design, every Bible study, and every direction this business takes. It’s not creativity for creativity’s sake — it’s creativity surrendered to Him. I see this work as a gift from God, and my worship is returning it to Him day by day, asking Him to shape it, bless it, and approve it.

Salt & Olive Co. is a one-woman show — just me, a mom and military spouse who loves Jesus. I may be the only one behind the scenes, but the real ‘Company’ is the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. This company exists because His grace pulled me out of who I used to be and placed me back on solid ground. I get to create because He redeems. I get to design because He restores.
